Change Chemistry (Formerly GC3) Recommended Framework for Ingredient Disclosure for Articles

Date postedJuly 1, 2021
in Publications,

Change Chemistry (formerly GC3) member retailers are working to implement chemicals policies and strategies that require information about chemicals in articles to enable informed decision making about the products they source and sell. Change Chemistry member suppliers recognize the need for sharing this information with their business customers but are understandably concerned about data security and the level of effort required to supply these data. The Change Chemistry undertook this project to develop an initial framework for article ingredient disclosure that delineates a common set of data elements to include. This framework is designed to help guide communication and facilitate agreements between retailers and suppliers, as well as harmonize retailers’ requests of suppliers.
