Professional Bio
Dr. Asli Tamer Vestlund is the lead for the Change Chemistry Retail Leadership Council working group. She also works closely with the Programs Team to help Change Chemistry's European members optimize their Change Chemistry engagement.
Before joining Change Chemistry, Asli has had nearly 20 years of experience in multinational corporations (including H&M Group and ABB), academia and trade associations. She has successfully led global projects and is highly experienced in regulatory compliance, consumer product legislation, and stakeholder engagement across diverse value chains.
As a thought leader, Asli has created impactful training programs, spoke at and moderated international events, and contributed to professional and academic publications. Her expertise includes chemicals and forestry product compliance strategies, EU chemical policies, and supply chain engagement programs.
Asli has earned her doctorate degree from Cranfield University, UK in the field of bioaerosols and compost. She has a Masters of Engineering degree in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK.
