Letter from Jason Pearson: A Look Ahead to 2026

Dear Change Chemistry Members, 

Happy New Year! I hope you had a restful and restorative holiday season. As we begin 2026, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your continued membership and your shared commitment to advancing safer and more sustainable chemistry. 

This year marks Change Chemistry’s 20th anniversary, a milestone we are excited to celebrate with you. Throughout the year, we aim to have member convenings leading up to our Innovators Roundtable. We welcome members who are interested in helping shape or host these gatherings as we engage in strategic conversation, advance collaborative work, elevate shared learning, and highlight progress across our network. 

We are now actively recruiting participants for the Category Transformation Accelerator: co-creating a replicable approach for value chains to align around--and take action on--specific priority chemicals in a consumer category. And we continue to work with the membership to: support value chain collaboration, advance shared policy priorities, strengthen our Startup Network, support financial sector engagement, and facilitate constructive dialogue with the civil society/NGO community.

On January 28, at 12 PM ET, we will be hosting a Community Conversation about our plans for 2026, including opportunities for you to share input on our strategic direction and learn more about upcoming projects and activities tied to our 20 year milestone. I hope you will join us, and please stay tuned for more details.
