Packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a policy approach intended to make packaging more recyclable, inform citizens about what to recycle, and ultimately reduce waste. EPR shifts the cost of end-of-use management of a regulated material from consumers and local governments to, in most cases, manufacturers and/or brand owners. In the US, the federal government has been slow to act, resulting in the States leading the way and creating a patchwork of regulations with varying implementation dates and requirements.

Join this conversation to dive into the nuances of EPR, obligations for compliance, and pending programs and requirements. Recommendation will be shared for managing your portfolio to prepare for future EPR regulations and changes.

Ample time will be reserved for Q&A and discussion, and we encourage you to share this invite with your colleagues that the topic is most relevant for.
