Community Networking Session

Join us for a Change Chemistry member networking session designed to support connection, conversation, and relationship building across our member community.

Following strong participation and positive feedback from our recent networking event, we are launching these sessions as a quarterly opportunity. Members shared a clear desire for more time and space to connect with peers, exchange perspectives, and communicate more regularly across the network.

These informal sessions provide a dedicated space for open conversation and peer to peer connection among members. There is no formal agenda or presentations. The focus is simply on giving members time to talk with one another.

Industry-Academia Networking: Building Connections for a Sustainable Future
Join us for a special edition of Change Chemistry’s member networking series, co-hosted by Beyond Benign, ACS Green Chemistry Institute, and Green Chemistry education leaders. This Industry-Academia networking session will connect academic researchers and educators with industry professionals to bridge sectors, spark collaboration, and build relationships across the chemistry community. 

Industry and academia share many of the same goals to advance green and sustainable chemistry – but the day-to-day realities of each can feel worlds apart. This event creates a dedicated space to close that gap: to share what’s happening on each side, find unexpected common ground, and build the kind of relationships that can lead to collaboration, new ideas, and real-world impact. 
These informal sessions provide a dedicated space for open conversation between industry and academia. There is no formal agenda or presentations. The focus is on connection. Participants join small breakout groups for candid conversation with colleagues across sectors.

Who Should Attend:

• Change Chemistry members across functions and roles who are interested in building relationships with academic colleagues. Members are welcome to invite colleagues from their organization to join the conversation.
• College and University faculty, researchers, and educators working in green and sustainable chemistry and related fields
• Colleagues and collaborators from any sector who share an interest in safer, more sustainable chemistry
