2024 EUROPEAN FORUM

Welcome to the 2024 Change Chemistry European Forum hosted by Dow!

Following on from the success of previous events, the 2024 European Forum will gather stakeholders from multi-industry value chains to discuss how collaboration and partnership can help accelerate green and sustainable chemistry's growth and implementation. Responding to increasing regulatory pressures from the European Green Deal, investors, and market forces; Change Chemistry will convene representatives from global companies, consulting firms, policymakers, governments, and non-governmental organizations for a two-day meeting exploring both the challenges and opportunities to advance safer and more sustainable chemistry in Europe and beyond.

Meeting Details

Dates: June 12-14, 2024

Venue: Dow Silicones Belgium Srl, Rue Jules Bordet, Parc Industriel Zone C, 7180 in Seneffe Belgium

The meeting will be held in the inspirationstudio building.

On-site registration: Please note that all attendees must fill out a SAFETY INDUCTION TEST prior to arriving on the Dow Seneffe campus.

Transportation

Transportation to/from airport and accommodation is to be arranged by the attendee at his/her own expense using the recommended hotel & taxi company if needed. Transportation from/to hotel will be arranged and provided by Dow. Note that there are no rideshare services (Uber, Lyft, Rently, etc.) available in the Seneffe area, please plan accordingly. Change Chemistry staff & Dow's reception will not be able to manage last minute taxi requests directly during the event.

Breakfast - A light breakfast will be served with refreshments on both days. A full breakfast is available at the hotel for an an additional cost of 21,00 € p.p., per day. Please take advantage of this if you need to eat a big breakfast to start the day.
Lunch - A full lunch will be served with refreshments on both days.

Dow Tour Information

About: Discover Dow's R&D laboratories and dive into the heart of Dow's technologies and innovation!

Time: Wednesday, June 14 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM

Location: We ask that arrive by 2:45 PM at the inspirationstudio building located on the Dow Seneffe campus. Light refreshments will be offered.

Dress Code: Please note that skirts or dresses are forbidden in the labs. Ladies must wear trouser and closed shoes for the lab tours.

Health & Safety Guidelines

Change Chemistry is committed to doing its part to protect the health and welfare of our staff, participants, and their families. We will continue to monitor community transmission levels related to disease outbreak precautions.

We recommend that everyone be “up-to-date” with vaccines.
Masking is optional at this time, but the Change Chemistry supports and recommends masking for those who are concerned about exposure, at higher risk of serious illness or who may be in contact with people at higher risk of illness or have been in recent contact with an exposed individual. Depending on community COVID levels and other factors, we may require masking to protect participants.
