Melissa Schisler

Melissa Schisler, a 29-year employee at The Dow Chemical Company, is the Global Director of Dow’s Product Regulatory and Scientific Expertise Organization. This organization includes global product regulatory, hazard communications, and toxicology/risk assessor teams. In her long career Melissa has held a variety of roles in the company including research roles in Analytical Sciences and the toxicology organization where she was the primary study director and lead scientist for genetic and molecular toxicology studies. Melissa has also held roles in product stewardship where she rose to the Product Sustainability Leader for Dow’s Industrial Solution and Hydrocarbons businesses. In her current role, Melissa leads the global organization that provides comprehensive regulatory and scientific expertise in the most effective way to ensure Dow's products comply with global regulations and are safe for their intended uses. By collecting and communicating accurate safety data, Dow aims to protect public health, environmental stewardship, promote sustainable development, and to ensure the growth.
